At Science on Tap you can discuss the latest ideas in science and technology with local scientists.
"As an organization, the Fremont Arts Council (FAC) is community-driven. The overall goal is to make Fremont a more fun, interesting and beautiful place to live, visit, and make art. We define the term "artist" very loosely, and our projects are open to the community to participate and learn new skills. Many members are professional artists, but don't let them scare you away." If you have an interest in practicing your German speaking, or listening, skills this group meets weekly. Topics range from local events to politics to literature to movies, and anything in between.
"Come dance to great DJ'd blues music. There is an open lesson for beginners and intermediates at 8pm, and dancing starts at 9pm. Waid's place is also a great bar, and it's nice to enjoy the atmosphere and watch the dancers too."
